We have arrived safely!

Hola Hola Amigos!!!

I'm pleased to inform you that we have arrived to Managua, Nicaragua and have already dove into our work here. After a good nights rest (for some of us), we ventured off to La Chureca, the city dump, to get an idea of the conditions the children we will be interviewing have lived or still live in. Although it was difficult to see the poor living conditions--shacks with dirt floors, showers uniquely contructed outside the homes, children running around half naked and dirty, my team and I sensed hope among this horrific situation. There is a school within the dump providing a free education to the children, and we had the wonderful opportunity of meeting some of the people who livein the dump and open their homes to group bible studies. The Lord is at work and there is hope! Below are some photos of our recent activities.
